META PRESENCE® FOR OSSERVATORI DIGITAL INNOVATION OF POLITECNICO DI MILANO - VIRTUAL EVENT

Goal: Osservatori Digital Innovation of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano chose Meta Presence® to organize the virtual version of its physical event "Extended Reality: the Metaverse takes shape" hosted on April 20, 2023 in Milan. The goal was to offer participants, at registration, the option of being able to choose to experience the conference in the Metaverse as well.
Description: For the occasion, we created in Meta Presence® the virtual space of the event, faithful to the main hall where the physical meeting was hosted. In this way, the organizers were able to ensure a completely new immersive experience for the participants, replicating all the dynamics of the in-presence event.
A Networking area was set up in order to interact with other guests and a Conference area where every stage of the event could be followed through the avatars of all participants and virtual screens that broadcast live content from the physical world.
283 users connected within the platform, both with PCs and tablets, followed the event immersively from the comfort of their offices.
An event where physical and virtual came together to create a unique, immersive experience that allowed the dynamics of in-person participation to be experienced, even remotely.
